JULY 2024
Dear Aeros:
Three weeks ago, I spent six days in Phoenix for business meetings. Fourteen-hour work days, a room full of lawyers, little sleep. Added to the mix, the outside temperature was 110F degrees each day. By Thursday evening we had achieved success but I was spent. So two meetings set for the next day in Palm Springs were postponed and we set our sights on home.
By the time I had reached GYR (Goodyear Airport) about an hour later our capable crew had readied the aircraft for immediate departure. Even the cabin was pre-cooled for the flight. Time to escape the dry sauna. (The clear blue twilight sky can appear deceptively benign.)
I immediately boarded my jet, poured a martini, reclined in one of the lie-flat seats and drifted off to sleep as we climbed into the starlit night. Two hours later I awoke from ears popping on final approach into YVR. We landed and taxied directly to the hangar. My car awaited us on the ramp with the engine running and a favourite tune playing. As I thanked our pilots for a flawless flight, the ground crew, attentive as always, offloaded my luggage into my car. With that, I pulled away for home, my favourite tunes blasting loudly. No customs, no security, no hurry up and wait in a gilded cage otherwise known as the "First Class Lounge".
As the first officer opened the cabin door, the cool night ocean breeze whispered in. That sense of sublime tranquillity of arriving home suddenly swept over me. And at that moment, I realized what true jet ownership is all about--a machine and team that creates total freedom.
Happy Flying,

JET LOGISTICS - GETTING WHERE YOU NEED TO BE 24/7
Numbers are in for 2023. Last year, Jet Logistics, AeroOne's aircraft management partner, logged over 5,000 hours while operating 17 jets worldwide. With zero incidents. That is the equivalent of five return trips to the Moon.
Transporting life-saving organs to hospitals, getting critical care patients anywhere in the world to timely treatment, and safely carrying out DND missions are part of their everyday job. Oh, and a bunch of those hours were logged flying AeroOne owners and their aircraft to where they need to be...24/7.
Just think what the Jet Logistics team can do for you.
THE NEW CESSNA "ASCEND"
Soooooo, Cessna is introducing its first new aircraft model in almost a decade. Considered a midsized jet, she shall be named "Ascend".
Oxford Dictionary:
as·cend
/əˈsend/
verb
1. go up or climb.
"she ascended the stairs"
Wonder if she goes down too? We may have to wait a while to find out as launch date is currently set for mid 2025.
At least one feature has definitely "ascended". Price. This little bird can be all yours for only $17 million, assuming price doesn't continue to ascend through delivery date.

Pretty cool interior? Maybe, if you're on acid. Psychedelics could maybe also assist in squeezing all 12 pax into the cabin? Worked for the VW Beetle back in the day.
TIMELESS CLASS AND VALUE! LEARJET 60

The Learjet 60 is majestically adorned with fresh interior and paint. Look at all that legroom! This aircraft has proven it can both ascend and descend at a price that is not sky-high.
